Good to know

Uses a fixed annual rate divided by 12 and monthly payments. Excludes fees and actual day counts. Rounds to whole KRW and settles the remaining principal in the final month.

For example
Loan principal (KRW): 10000000
Annual interest rate (%, 0–100): 4
Term (months, 1–600): 12
Repayment method: annuity
FIELD NOTES

Understand and use your results

Compare monthly cash flow and total interest before choosing a loan. Equal payments keep installments approximately level; equal principal repays a fixed principal portion; interest-only loans repay all principal at maturity.

How to use it

  1. Enter principal in whole KRW, annual interest rate and term in months.
  2. Select a repayment method and compare total interest and first/final payments.
  3. Expand the schedule or download a CSV with monthly principal, interest and balance.

Worked example

Input and options
12,000,000 KRW · 12% · 12 months
Equal principal
Result or interpretation
First payment: 1,120,000 KRW
Final payment: 1,010,000 KRW
Total interest: 780,000 KRW

The monthly rate is 1%, with 1,000,000 KRW of principal repaid each month. Interest declines from 120,000 to 10,000 KRW, totaling 780,000. Equal payment = P×r÷(1−(1+r)^−n), or P÷n at 0%.

Why can the bank schedule differ?

This model uses a fixed rate and monthly periods without a grace period. Banks may use actual day counts, truncation, changing rates or fees. Supports 1–1 trillion KRW, 1–600 months and 0–100% annual rates. The final payment settles rounding differences. Confirm contractual payments with your lender.
