Worked example
12,000 KRW/hour · 20 hours/week Attendance and employment conditions met
Paid holiday hours: 4 Gross holiday pay: 48,000 KRW
20 ÷ 40 × 8 = 4 paid holiday hours; multiply by 12,000 KRW. Do not add overtime or unpaid breaks. The 15-hour threshold also refers to contractual hours.
Does an unchecked condition and a zero result mean I am ineligible?
No. An unconfirmed condition is not a legal finding. Lateness, early departure and statutory leave are not automatically equivalent to an unauthorized absence. Work patterns, holidays and termination timing may affect eligibility. Consult the Korean labor ministry (1350) if the comparable schedule differs or conditions are unclear. This tool calculates holiday pay only, without salary, deductions or premiums.
